The work uses a database published online by the French authorities, which lists the crimes recorded monthly by the police across France. A five-year period is presented, one month after the other. The figure itself, evolving over time, is drawn by hand with ink on an industrial mop made of yellow non-woven fabric, each folded in four. The figure doesn't evolve very much over five years, the textile is impregnated with it, and the ink is diffused in it, into this object of our everyday life, usually predestined to clean and to be thrown away.
